Guided hikes on sandy beaches allow for close-up and environmental shots, while excursions along the barrier island’s trails give access to unique perspectives of the horses interacting with the dunes and marshes. Depending on the day and the herd’s movements, private boat excursions provide a rare vantage point from the water, offering opportunities for dynamic, action-filled photographs.

Participants should be prepared for walking over sand, tidal flats, and uneven terrain, carrying camera gear for 2–5 miles per day. The pace is light to moderate, with plenty of time to pause, compose shots, and explore creative angles.

Accommodations are optional. You may arrange your own lodging, or upgrade to shared accommodations in nearby vacation rentals or hotels for convenience and comfort. Meals, transportation to and during the workshop, personal items, trip insurance, and gratuities are not included unless noted.
